So I started this topic so I can hopefully get some communication back and forth between Droid X users and what works for them on increasing their benchmarking scores. I know that their are forums and such out their like XDA and DroidForums and such though I thought it made sense for us commmunicate here where we go to post our scores and get info on scores. I know that there are a ton of Droid X users still out their and I hope that people actually take me up on this offer. I know that I am willing to commuincate through here or messages or whatever on what I have done to get the scores that I have gotten and to share my meager bit of knowledge and xp with other. If anybody else out there is like me and just can't stop fiddling with their damn phones and be happy with what they have then please post here.

So I am starting this off by sharing what I think of the latest gingerbread leak from Team Black Hat. I personally don't care for it as much. I'm not knocking them at all it is on Motorola and VW. I have not looked into it enough but I think this is what they are releasing for the OTA or already have I don't really know. Anyway this version is 4.5.588 and I got the pre rooted version and also flashed the addon to make it deodexed. The first thing I noticed with it is that it does have the moto boot animation with the eye as opposed to the previous leak that had a spinning gyroscope with light thing. Then second thing that I noticed after getting it set up and such is that it has more bloatware than anything I have ever experienced. I mean damn. So I played with it and still am but Have noticed that I can't seem to get as consistent scores on smartbench and also that my quadrant scores are not coming up as high as they were with the previous leak. It is possible that I have changed some build property and that is why but overall I guess what gets to me is it just doesn't feel as smooth. I remember when I flashed the first one for the first time and I gotta say that it was just straight up SMOOTH. That is the feeling I get with gingerbread anyway. Then I flashed ZAPX Ginger 4.1 and was pleased with that as well. Anyway thats enough for now. I will play with it some more and maybe post later on some reflections about what I do. Anybody want to share what they think about it thats what this is for.

One thing it did show was that its screen isnt as good as the Galaxy S screen, it looked far duller in comparison.

I just happened to look at this after not being on the site for a long time and I have to say WTF are you talking about? What you are referring to has no basis or even remotely has to do with what I posted whatsoever. I must assume that you are either really F'd up on something or posted on the wrong post. I said nothing about the Galaxy S and didn't have a video at all. I don't know everything or even close to everything about working with phones but I do have common sense of a sort and eyes. I really want to just talk bad about you but it wouldn't be right and I am having a bad day anyway so I might be just wanting to blast somebody. Read it next time please.
