Got 469 on the stock Dell Streak with Android 1.6. Did not over-clock this baby.

Got 670 Quadrant Benchmark on stock Dell Streak running 1.6, official ROM

Below are the An3DBench Results

Fillrate ST/MT: 11.28/11.37 MP/sec
High object count: 14.30 fps
Multiple lights: 29.73 fps
High polygon count: 14.61 fps
Keyframe animation: 29.79 fps
Game level: 15.12 fps
Total score: 2778

I've always wondered why Streak was lagging in performance compare to other QSD8250 based phones. I guess it shouldn't have.

Yeah, i was quite surprised on the score stated previously. There was also a comparison between Streak running stock 1.6 compared to 2.1 on Streaksmart which also stated much lower scores in both Quadrant and An3DBenchmark for the 1.6 ROM.

Heard the 2.2 (unofficial ROM)pumps out almost 2.5X improvement on the Streak. Haven't tried it yet but i'll probably wait for the official ROM first

Is it only Quadrant benchmarks or do you require any other benchmarks, i could always run and post the results here.

Froyo should do well on Dell Streak. From what I have seen so far, only the Qualcomm processors are gaining huge performance benefits (not sure why). Samsung Galaxy S phones are not gaining much on Froyo, nor do Droid X/2 phones. Dell Streak should result in a similar performance as Nexus One on Froyo, which is pretty good.  

Do you know of anyone who has the result for this?

For now, only Quadrant. Other benchmarks are too focused on just one area. Thanks for the offer, though.

Hi,

Yeah, from what i gather via Streak Smart, on the Android 2.1, there wasn't much improvement, only 767. Using the unofficial 2.2 ROM version 0.3, the score is 1273 without debug change.

The official 2.2 ROM, apparently will be released very soon, early November perhaps. Will run the quadrant on that and repost.

Yeah, didn't expect much improvement on 2.1 in terms of performance. That release was more of a functional improvement release.
